Meet Sonya

Sweet Sonya is a one year old mixed breed. She is a perfect size at just 30 pounds. Sonya is a cuddly girl who loves to get belly rubs and hang out with her foster family. She is crate trained, but will cry for a little while when she first goes inside the crate.  Sonya is house trained and only chews her toys. She was picked up as a stray and never claimed. Sonya is great with kids, other dogs and cats. She enjoys playing with other dogs, chewing bones, squeaky plush toys and going for walks. Her personality is shy and submissive. This wonderful girl will make a loving and loyal companion!  If you are interested in adopting Sonya, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
