We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media.   Millie is a gorgeous two-year-old Labrador Retriever and Cane Corso mix, weighing seventy-five pounds. Having been through trauma she is still timid around people but loves dogs and will need a resident dog to play with and find comfort. Millie needs a a household experienced with dogs who have been traumatized , is patient in allowing her to find her comfort level and has a playful dog at home. She is not aggressive but can withdraw until she feels safe. Her temporary foster writes, "Millie is big on routine and likes to always walk the same paths . She needs a gentle, quiet home where she can have a routine and feel safe. She loves being inside." Millie is healthy and fully vetted. If you love big, gentle dogs who need a comforting place, Millie is for you!  Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. Unless there is definitive documentation our breed assessments are based on visual appearances.

Adoption Process
We screen fosters and adopters. If approved for a Dog you will be required to sign a contract.
