Meet Rosie
Name / Breed / Age: Rosie, Pitbull, Puppy Personality Traits: Happy go lucky, The Class Clown, The Athlete Likes / Dislikes: LOVES chomping on a plush toy. Not destroying it, just biting it and pouncing on it. She dislikes veggies! She is super food motivated but does not like healthy human food treats! Health and behavior history: Up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and will be spayed prior to adoption. Clean bill of health from the PIPs Vet!My name is Rosie, I am a young, energetic, just happy to be here pup. I was found as a stray so many things are still new to me but I am curious and love to explore. I have the most fun playing with my foster brother and sister but I also enjoy some alone time just snoozing on the couch or chewing on my favorite toy. I am very food motivated, but not food aggressive, and am eager to learn new tricks, if it means I get a treat. I am very attentive to my surroundings and I love pleasing people to get their praise. I still have my puppy energy so I love to run around and play but I will also gladly curl up next to you with my head in your lap.
Adoption Process
Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions.
The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have.
Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption.
Adoption fees are $325 for adults and $375 for puppies. All dogs will be up to date on age appropriate vaccines and spayed / neutered if old enough. If not old enough adopters can come back to our vet to have it covered in fee. It must be done by the time the dog is 6 months old.
