Meet Poppie

Poppie a four-year-old and ten-pound Miniature Pinscher. Poppie is good with dogs, cats, and kids. We rescued Poppie from a hoarding situation, and she has adjusted to quiet living. Poppie is well mannered in the house. She loves affection and lots of attention and hanging around with her dog and cat foster buddies, and older kids. Poppie is very good at communicating her boundaries to her foster brother and sisters. We are continuing to work on house training, but she is quiet as a mouse in her crate and has even learned how to use the doggie door. Poppie loves going outside to play and will play fetch forever; she is fast! This is a super smart girl and will make a wonderful addition to any family. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.

Adoption Process
We screen fosters and adopters. If approved for a Dog you will be required to sign a contract.
