Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue

We are a nonprofit and no kill rescue that works within our county to make it a no kill community. We take in dogs/puppies, cats/kittens and update their vetting including spay and neuters. We will fix the moms and dads of the litters we take so their won't be anymore accidental litters. We do not use vouchers, all of our animals are spayed and neutered before they are adopted out.

Meet Rocky (Courtesy Post)

He has been neutered and is up-to-date on shots. He is friendly with other dogs, and is an inside/outside dog. He loves to play and run, and would do best with a fenced-in yard to play in.If you are interested in Rocky, please email [email protected] for further information.

Adoption Process
An application is required and once it is processed and approved we will set up a time for the adopter to meet the pet, if the pet is finished with their vetting then we can finalize adoption or put the pet on hold and let the adopter know when the pet is ready. When we finalize adoption, the adopter will need to sign an adoption contract and a health disclaimer. We do ask that if the adopter decides that it is not working out that they bring the dog back to us so we can make sure the animal will go into a good home.
