Meet Teddy

Teddy is a 3-year-old Boston Terrier who was dropped at a shelter in MI, along with several other dogs. He is 19 pounds, up to date on vetting including neuter, and very sweet, but he is very timid and scared! He is looking for someone patient, with a big heart, to give him a chance at a happy forever! Teddy loves other dogs and is learning that humans can be trusted. He has shown no aggression, only being very timid! The ideal home will have another dog or two for his confidence and a fenced yard. Once trust is earned, Teddy can practice with a leash and take some walks. The adoption fee for Teddy will be greatly reduced for the right fit. We just want to give him the best chance! Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.
