Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Cassie

Meet Cassie! Breed: We believe mom is a lab/shepherd mix. Dad is obviously unknown. Age: est 9 weeks (estimate birthday 9/23/22), Weight: approx 10lbs right now, we estimate 40-45ish lbs when full grown. Training: crate trained, working on leash and house training. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: loving, friendly and playful. Reason for rescue: mom and pups were found on a dirt road, known for dumping unwanted animals :(. Despite our efforts to find a potential owner, nobody stepped forward. Mom was very emaciated. They have received their first & second sets of puppy vaccines and current on dewormings & preventatives. They will need to be spayed/neutered before 6 months of age (approx 3/23/23) . If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $150.
