Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc

The primary mission of the BTBR is to rescue Boston Terriers, as well as small Boston Terrier mixes where resources permit, from situations of abuse or neglect or from other situation that leave the dogs without an owner, such as from owners who surrender their pets or from animal shelters and other animal welfare organizations. That is our official mission statement. In simple terms, this is a warm, loving group of volunteers that saves Boston Terriers for the love of the breed and the desire to stop the neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs from suffering.

Meet Miss Bella

Miss Bella is looking for her furever home This beautiful, 6-year-old, 19-pound BT has a rough history. She ended up in a shelter and in a foster home with dogs she didn’t get along with, and she appears to have been mistreated by humans . Since coming to BTBR, she’s been hanging out with her foster mom and learning that people aren’t always scary, but she can still be very fearful. Because of Miss Bella’s past, she needs a quiet, adult-only home, with no other pets and a fenced yard. Though she will not be the neighborhood social butterfly, she would love to be your world. She loves snuggles on the couch, chewing on toys, and sunbathing. She is house trained, spayed, and up to date on all vetting. Miss Bella is currently in Aiken, SC. Can you find it in your heart to open your home to her? Please apply at https://www.bostonrescueteam.com/info/adoption

Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.
