I'm soft and clingy just like your favorite shirt! The shelter is a hard place for a worried guy like me. I just can't decide how I feel. One minute I'm standing up okay and the next--boom, trembling dog-shaped pancake. I like people, but I'm not very confident here. I crawl into laps and lick lick lick so you know I won't hurt you. I like toys too, but only when they're on the ground! Throwing scares me. I'll need a calm home with gentle, patient people; tons of confidence building; a cozy retreat; and a solid routine. Can you tell me that everything will be okay? Kids: 10+, dog-savvy and gentle kids; very nervous and appeasing Dogs: Nervous, paw lift, lip lick, some sniffing. Very slow intros with gentle dogs

Own home OR live in a place where pets are allowed
No past animal about charges
Cannot be under the influence when adopting
Cannot be adopting the animal as a gift
