Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Macy! Breed: tibetan spaniel mix. Age: est 2 years. Weight: est 28lbs. Training: crate and leash trained, she is doing well with housetraining. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. She can be skittish so we feel older, considerate kids will be best. Personality: she is a little shy at first, but she warms up to be friendly, playful, and affectionate. Reason for rescue: Macy was dumped on a hiking trail. Macy is is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. She is heartworm positive and being treated. She will go home with her medications. If interested in adding this sweet baby to your family, please message for an adoption application! Adoption fee: $75
