"If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and man." - Mark Twain Mark is a dog that came to us by pure happenstance, but he has been the perfect reminder of why we rescue. He was a stray that we are convinced would thank us for saving him if he could. He has the most positive, happy presence about him. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't put us all in a brighter mood. He's just so happy to be here. Mark is friendly with everyone he meets; dogs, cats, and kids alike. There doesn't appear to be a mean bone in his body! He is so trainable, too! He listens well to instruction and walks well on a leash. Mark is a mixed breed dog just under 2 years old. He weighs 42 pounds, so while he isn't tiny, he also isn't a massive dog either. He'd make a great companion for just about anyone. Please don't pass up the opportunity to adopt a fantastic dog. He really is something!! Apply online at ahhumanesociety.org or email [email protected] with any questions!
