Meet Joey **BONDED to Jammie**

Joey is a 7lb, 5 yr old, male Maltese/Poodle mix who is bonded to his sister Jammie. They are a friendly, happy pair who like to play with toys and each other. They are spunky and lively like most Maltipoos.       Jammie and Joey are engaging dogs who will make wonderful companions for whoever adopts them.   They are leash-trained and enjoy going on walks.  They are crate trained and continue working to master housetraining. They could be only dogs or there could be another small dog in the home with them.  The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC and VA. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME (NO YOUNG CHILDREN) WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD FOR Jammie & Joey'S ADOPTIVE HOME.  The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no greater than 1 1/2 inches and attached to the home. An invisible fence, enclosed patio, terrace or deck, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT.  No exceptions.   There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $450 each ($900 for the pair).
