Meet Finn
Hello everyone, my name is Finn! I am a treeing walker coonhound, and am on the bigger side for hounds. I am about 8 years old, but don’t let my age scare you off, I am spunky and love a good walk! My friends would say I am sweet, chill, and a hugger. I am surprisingly quiet for a hound dog, but would probably be best not in an apartment because I may become more vocal as I settle into my furever home. I am great with adults and older children, 14 years and older, but prefer to have a child free home. I prefer to be able to relax at home when I’m not out exploring and younger children can be a little chaotic for me. Like many dogs my age, I am dog selective, but do like certain dogs. I prefer a more laidback dog that will not try to jump on me instead of a younger puppy-like dog. I also have a high prey drive so I am not good with smaller dogs or cats. I am a hunting dog after all! I am crate trained and am quiet and calm in my crate. I am working on learning other manners and tricks! Please come meet me at Petco in Wilmington on Saturdays from 11:00-3:00
