_________ B I O ______________  Name: Giddens Size: (Once fully grown) ~Large range: 61-100 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Intact Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip  Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:  8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery.  ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.   Giddens is full of sweet snuggles and tail wags!   Foster Home Feedback  3/3/2025 Foster Feedback: Giddens has been a joy at his foster home.  He is a fun little guy that has been residing with two other adult dogs and they are all getting along great.  Giddens has been what we would consider a lower maintenance puppy.  He loves to play with his toys and naps frequently, snuggling with his friends.  He still has all of his baby teeth and will easily redirect with a toy when he gets a little mouthy.  Giddens is completely crate trained and he sleeps all night without a peep.  We are also working very hard on his house training and happy to report he has now gone one entire day without an accident!  Giddens will need time, patience, training going forward.  He is a very good boy and will give a very lucky family a lot of love!
