Meet Sky

Meet Sky!  She is about 2 years old, weighs about 50 pounds, and is a husky/Australian shepherd mix. Sky appears to have been kept outside and ran off or was dumped. Not sure why anyone would let this pretty girl get away, did you see her beautiful blue eyes?! Because of this, she has some separation anxiety & needs a family that is understanding & patient while she’s adjusting to her new home. Sky walks well on a leash with minimal pulling, she LOVES being petted, snuggling with humans, playing with all the toys & she enjoys the company of other dogs although sometimes she does need some time when meeting dogs for the first time. She does need to work on some household manners but she’s a smart girl & is learning quickly. She would thrive with consistency and positive reinforcement. She would love a fenced in yard to run around in or someone to take her on daily walks. Sky has not been cat tested but would do best in a home with kids ages 5+. Sky needs a family that’s willing to be patient and works through her fears/quirks. Sky barks when afraid and needs reassurance that she’s safe. A meet and greet at the potential adopters home will be required to move forward with adopting her. If you think Sky is right for your family, please apply today! Adoption Process
Adoption fees range from $150-$350. Non-negotiable. An applications at www.pawsandprayers.org must be filled out and approved before a meet and greet can be set up.
