Ohio Basset Hound Rescue. Inc

I started OBHR over 17 yrs ago. Love the breed. We have rescued over 2000 dogs. We have no age limit, we take seniors, dogs with medicals problems, pregnant dogs. I do it because I want to make sure these dogs are taken care of.

Meet Ola

Ola is still waiting on her forever home! Ola is a 4 year old female basset that came to us when her family fell on hard times financially. She is a super sweet and loving girl who loves to run and play as well as catch a nap under a shady tree. Ola was adopted once and came back because they did not feel she was a good fit for their senior dog. She has been kenneled for a weeks now so her new family will need to give her the 3 threes for sure! Three days to decompress after coming home, three weeks to learn the pattern of a new home, and three months to understand that they are now home! If you are interested in Ola or any of our dogs please fill out the application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com approved email us at [email protected]. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is currently located in the Columbus area. She will need a home with a fenced in yard.

Adoption Process
Puppies $250 1yr to 8 $200 8yrs and older $100 Must fill out an application, be approved and sign a adoption agreement. We always take the dog back for any reason. Must have a fenced yard, vetting must be good, no kids under 5 yrs old.
