Meet Buffy - OS

Buffy's adoption donation is $450 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention. She has also had a dental cleaning. Buffy requires a home with a strong vet history. Buffy came into rescue through no fault of her own when her owner passed away and Buffy seemed to fall through the cracks of getting the care she needed. She has made incredible  progress in rescue and has really started to come out of her shell as she was very timid when she initially came into rescue. Buffy is shy when first meeting but warms up quickly. She gets along with other dogs if they aren't in her space, but is really fine on her own. She will potty outside on a leash and will go a walk around the yard or just a quick walk out to potty. She wants to be her persons center of attention watching movies, cuddles, cooking, naptime all together.  Buffy does take a daily med for a heart murmur, but she takes her meds like a champ and it doesn't impact her. It will require periodic monitoring going forward.

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
