Meet Delaney Dundee

Delaney’s adoption donation is $450 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio.  She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention.  She has also had a dental cleaning. Delaney requires a home with a companion dog of similar size/energy and a secure, physically fenced yard. Delaney is a mill mom who is just the happiest girl. She is a little shy but once she warms up to you, she will be your best friend! She loves to give kisses and to clean her foster sister to death. She is VERY curious and wants to know what you are doing at all times. She likes toys and loves to wiggle on her back. She will need a patient home as she is working on mastering the art of potty training. She is still shy of the “outside world’ so leash walking is a little scary. Delaney definitely needs to have a fur-sibling of similar size and energy to learn all the dog things from. She is such a sweet girl and just wants to be loved!

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
