DASH (Danielle's Animal Safe Haven) rescues dogs, cats, horses and other companion animals. We bring them back to health, make sure they have all of their shots, and are spayed or neutered. Then we find them a new FOREVER home. We are a non-profit organization dedicated solely to the health and well-being of animals. All our staff are volunteers.

Meet Smokey

JUST LOOK AT THIS SHEPHERD MIX's SMILE!  This energetic guy would love to help you train for your next marathon!  Smokey is a beautiful shepherd mix who has entered our prison training program. His trainer describes him as "very friendly with everyone he meets".  He has lots of energy and loves to play.  When he gets excited he will jump up so we recommend he not be placed with small children.  However, he just started his training and we are quite confident he will learn what is acceptable.  He gets along with other dogs.  He can be a bit vocal in his crate from time to time but that's because he wants to be with his people.  With his affectionate and energetic personality, he would make an active family, a perfect match.  He is housebroken, loves baths and plays well with other dogs.
