Meet Luca OS

Luca's adoption donation is $550 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention. Luca does require a secure, physically fenced yard. Luca came into rescue through no fault of her own when her owner could no longer care for her. She has adjusted very well and is such a happy girl. Luca said there is no such thing as a bad day when you can get pets and treats. She is doing well on housetraining if kept on a schedule.  The perfect home for her will be an active home to keep her engaged and no children under the age of 8-10 years due to her small size. Luca is still learning her leash skills so a fenced yard is needed to keep her safe. A patient and understanding home will help her learn to be her best self.

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
