Meet Norman

Meet Norman! Norman is a beautiful pitty hound mix. He has freckles on his nose and legs. Norman is the best boy. He learns fast, listens well. He is housebroken, with only 1 accident since being at his foster home. He is good on a leash. This guy has had some training in his young life. He walks beside you on the leash and ignores the people he passes. His foster mom still needs to test walking and encountering another dog. He is so mild-mannered that she thinks it will go well. He sits and waits for treats and is very gentle when taking them. He loves to eat; he is a grazer so you can put his bowl down and he will munch all day. If you have other pets, he wants their food too. This is where working on boundaries comes in. He is doing well leaving the kitties or little dogs alone when they don't want to play, but there are times they need to growl to remind him. He gets it and leaves them alone. He is a cuddle bug and loves his people. He follows his foster mom everywhere, so he is learning that it is ok for him to stay by himself. He will go in the cage, he doesn't love it, and when you leave, he cries and barks some. He gets a whimzee and that seems to help. He loves his lambies, and plays gently with they are put in the cage when he goes in. He loves having company and meeting new people and dogs. He is learning not to jump up, and "down" works. He will sit at their feet for pets and praise. He is completely vetted, neutered, microchipped, and ready for adoption.
