Adoption Fees
75.Meet Kobe FKA Moses
REDUCED ADOPTION FEE! This distinguished gentleman is KOBE, formerly known as Moses. Kobe was adopted from SDHR back in March 2020. He's now back with the rescue and in need of a new home. Kobe is a mixed breed boy, probably some type of lab mix. Handsome Kobe is mostly black with brindle highlights and a docked tail. He's 8-9 years old and slightly overgrown at 50 pounds. He should be about 40 pounds, so he's on a diet. Kobe is a good natured chill guy, in the low/medium energy range. He likes to play and go for walks and car rides, but he's also perfectly content to chill on the sofa with his people. Kobe is fine with other dogs and good with kids. No kitties for Kobe, though. Kobe is housebroken and crate trained. He's best suited to a home where he won't be left alone for long hours, he just loves to be with people. Kobe required minimal veterinary care when he was returned to us, so his adoption fee is reduced to $75 in the hope of helping him find a home quickly. If you'd like to meet this gem of a dog, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Kobe at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
