Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Hi, I'm Chance! I'm just the goodest boy--I love everything and everyone. I am what my fosters call a "velcro dog". I do not like to leave their side. I know some tricks--I know how to sit, beg, lay down, and stay. I walk extremely well on a leash and am house trained. The only main thing we're working on is learning to use the crate--man I hate that thing.I'm a 3 year old pit bull mix and weigh in at 70 lbs-- I'm what some call a big boy. Don't let my size fool you though, I am a gentle giant. I haven't met a dog, kid, or cat I didn't like, I've even been around ducks and liked them too. I am up to date on all my vaccines and I am neutered--oh and I have one of those microchip things that will help if I'm ever lost too.
