Meet Second Chance Seniors - Betsy

Meet Betsy!! She is a sweet little Pekingese weighing in at about 8.5 lbs. She could stand to gain a little weight. Luckily, eating is one of her favorite activities. Betsy is approximately 13 years old. Sadly, her owner died. After that, she ended up living outside for two years.  So, it is not surprising that she wants to be loved and lavished with attention. She loves humans and the other small dogs in her foster home. We do not know about her interactions with bigger dogs.   She is not overly active but she will take walks on a leash as long as it is leisurely. If she keeps a schedule, she will go outside to the bathroom. Otherwise, she will have accidents. When she needs to be home without her humans, her foster mommy puts her in a playpen area with piddle pads. It’s not her absolute favorite thing.
