Forget Me Not Animal Rescue

Forget Me Not Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that believes all animals deserve a forever loving home. It is our mission to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals. We work tirelessly to save and rehabilitate both physically and mentally abused animals. Every animal is given as much time and care as needed. We strive to help and educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of all these wonderful animals. We are a foster based rescue, which means we do not have a physical location.

Meet Boe

Boe is 5 years old and is a black lab mix. He was adopted in August of 2019 from the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Valley View Ohio when he was only 3 months old. Doctors estimated he was born around May 30, 2019. He was found roaming the streets of Garfield Heights, OH. He is a loving, playful, and highly energetic doggie! He is crate and potty trained. He was already neutered when we adopted him and he is microchipped. He is our only pet and has never been around cats. He has been around dogs because we sometimes board him at Barks & Recreation in Macedonia, OH when we go out of town. He seems to do pretty good there. He loves to play! Boe received his yearly vaccines on July 6, 2024.Boe loves car rides!

Adoption Process
We require an adoption application be completed and approved before a meet can take place with any of our animals. From that point, we will set up meet and greets with approved candidates. A 2 week trial adoption is possible to ensure a good fit. Fees vary. If 2 week trial is wanted, a non-refundable deposit of half the adoption fee is required. (If a crate is provided to adopter there may be an additional fee to cover replacement cost)
