Meet Toby
!! ATTENTION BEAGLE LOVERS !! Meet Toby! This sprightly 6-year-old bundle of joy tips the scales at about 24 lbs. of pure beagle charm. (possibly a little blue tick by his “freckles”) He's the life of the party, making friends wherever he goes, though we’re still guessing how he feels about cats—it's a mystery! Being a beagle, he absolutely requires a PHYSICAL fence, sorry, no condo or apartment living for this furry fella! He’s chillaxing at our shelter, rocking his crate like a pro, but we can’t quite say if he’s cracked the code on housebreaking just yet! Toby did test positive for Lyme disease but is SHOWING NO SYMPTOMS, he is currently on “doxy” (Doxycycline). Even after successful treatment, dogs may remain Lyme-positive, meaning they will still test positive for the disease, but this doesn't necessarily mean they are actively infected. Toby’s adoption fee is $350. Please complete a non-obligatory adoption application for Toby at https://pawsandprayers.org/adoption-application/ To bring home a furry friend from Paws and Prayers, all your current and past pets need to be on point with their annual vaccines, rabies shots, and heartworm tests and prevention (for the pups). We’ll be doing a little vet record snooping to make sure everyone’s in tip-top shape! Giving your vet a heads-up will make everything smoother! All Paws and Prayers animals are up to date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee also includes Toby’s neuter and microchipping. Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.
