Meet Argus

Meet Argus !!    This 1 year old Yellow Lab came to us as an owner surrender. He had become too much for his family to handle so we agreed to take him in and find his forever home!    Argus is a typical, young, BIG (85 pound) Lab! He didn’t have many boundaries in his previous home which lead to some unwanted behavior. He is such a sweet pup! His whole body will wiggle with his tail! He loves to lean on people and get all the love. Argus has lived with children in the past, but due to his size we will only consider a home with children over 12 years old.    Argus has spent some time with a professional trainer refining his skills! He will need a family committed to exercise, stimulation and setting boundaries. If he thinks he can get away with something, he’s going to try it :). He has shown some resource guarding, but it is very easily managed. We will be happy to discuss this in depth with anyone interested!    Overall he’s just a big, goofy pup! He does well with other dogs and has been fostered with cats.    Argus is up to date in vaccines, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative.
