Meet Nutmeg

Nutmeg is thought to be a 6 year old puggle mix weighing in at only 25lbs, and it's very likely she was used for breeding. Despite having a rough start to life, she is such a sweet, easygoing companion. She's a well-mannered lady who loves people, enjoys snuggling, and has the kind of gentle nature that makes an ideal family pet. What Nutmeg Loves: Cuddles & Belly Rubs: She’s a fan of getting pampered, and will happily roll over for belly rubs or curl up on the couch for a cozy nap. Snuggling: Whether it's with her human or fellow dogs, Nutmeg is always ready for a snuggle session! Being Around You: She’s happiest when she’s near her people or other dogs—just not when she’s left totally alone. Therefore she'll do best in a home where her loved ones are home more often than not. Other Dogs: Nutmeg has lived with multiple other dogs, and she gets along great with her furry friends, regardless of size.A Few Things to Know: She is not currently fostered with cats, so we are unsure how she would act. She is also not fostered with children, but she doesn't mind being picked up or picked at, and she was an Angel at the vet. She is working on leash training, and she's decent on a leash, as long as you're headed toward something she’s excited about (like a walk or a cozy spot to relax!). If you're looking for a laid-back, loving companion who will fill your home with joy and cuddles, Nutmeg could be the one! Apply today and see if you can offer this sweet girl the forever home she deserves. She is available for adoption now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.
