Meet Cosmo Fairfield

Cozmo’s adoption donation is $550 and he is being fostered in Cincinnati Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, started on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention.  Cozmo came into rescue when he was dumped and ended up at the local shelter. This little man was arriving with a body full of matted hair. Cosmo has made incredible progress in rescue. He was groomed, learned to use the stairs and how to sleep in a crate at night time. He is a sweet, snuggly boy who is all puppy. He enjoys playing with other dogs that are close to his size or smaller. He loves to run around, chase balls and tug a war. He is learning how to walk outside and manage the big world and big leaves. Cozmo would benefit from an active home that can spend the time to train and play with a puppy. He does not need a fenced yard or a companion animal but would love both if you have one. He does well with housetraining is on a schedule, but a patient home is necessary 

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
