Hello! My name is Rufus. I am handsome, goofy, and a loveable guy through and through. I was surrendered by my previous family for being too much for their health. I am a bigger guy, I am very energetic, and I like to have fun! I am talkative and loud, I love to go on walks and enjoy the sunshine, and I am always happiest when I am with my person. My previous family said I love kids! I would do better with older kids, because I tend to bulldoze kids over (I forget how big I am when I'm excited) and when they fall over, I hang my head and get real sad. I love car rides and trying new treats. I am very housebroken too! I also lived with cats before and loved to play with them if you can believe it! I'm a sweet fella and I am so lonely here without a family to call my own...come meet me today!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home.
