Meet HAYZEL

You’ve been looking for love, and here I am! My name is Haysel, and I’m a 4-year-old Husky mix who’s as sweet as can be. I came all the way from Louisiana, rescued right before a hurricane, and now I’m looking for my forever family.I have the prettiest ice-blue eyes and the cutest freckles, if I do say so myself. Every morning, I’ll greet you with kisses in exchange for pets – it’s our special little routine. Oh, and I love to play! Toys are my favorite, especially outside ones, where we can play keep-away. I’m also pretty clever when it comes to getting treats from my treat ball!I love going for walks, and I’ve mastered all kinds of terrain. I’ll jump over fallen trees, weave around fence posts and stroll through tall grass like it’s nothing. I think I’d make a great hiking buddy if you’re up for adventures! I’m also a good passenger in the car, so road trips are no problem. When it’s time to relax, I’m right there with you – I’ll nap when you nap, and I’ll sleep through the night without making a peep.I’m happiest around my humans, and while I haven’t been around other pets (except a horse I sniffed with no reaction), I’m sure I’ll settle in just fine. I do have a couple of quirks – kennels aren’t really my thing, and I sometimes need a little help when it comes to chewing, but with some guidance, I know I can be my best self.
