ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED! When dearest darling LOLO loves you, her face lights up with joy and she wiggles all over when she sees you and it's the best feeling in the world. Lolo isn't just looking for a home, she's looking for a co-dependent relationship. All this girl wants in life is to spend time with the people she loves, plus some toys and treats. She's a homebody kind of girl, she doesn't want to do a lot of socializing but does enjoy walks, visiting dog-friendly retail stores and just spending every moment with the person/people she loves. Lolo is about 4 years old and 37 pounds. She's a bully breed type mixed breed girl. We suspect she may also have a bit of Australian Cattle Dog in her and maybe a bit of beagle. Lolo hasn't had the best of lives and lacks confidence in herself, but we've been working on that with her and she's greatly improved. She's selective about her dog friends and is best suited to a home where she's an only dog. Every one of volunteers would adopt Lolo in a heartbeat if she was more comfortable with other dogs. That's not just a sales pitch, we all lover her so and wish we could take her home, but we're rescue people so we all have more dogs than Lolo would ever be comfortable with. Instead, we are sponsoring her adoption fee in hopes of finding her the perfect home where she can thrive. Lolo is housebroken and crate trained and a total love. If you'd like to meet our sweet girl, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter, or you can meet Lolo at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care.
