Sweet Dream House Rescue

Sweet Dream House Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer, all breed animal rescue. We utilize a network of foster homes for pets ready for adoption. Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, to spay/neuter, vaccinate and provide any needed medical care until they are adopted into loving homes. We are often the rescue of last resort, waiting until other rescues select from the euthansia lists to rescue those that are not selected.

Meet Jeff Wyler

Look at this sweet sweet face. JEFF WYLER is a handsome young dog looking for a home. He's a gentle, shy guy who craves love and attention. He loves toys and other dogs. Jeff Wyler is a mixed breed boy, about 1 year old and fully grown at 36 pounds. He appears to be some type of pointer mix. We suspect he may be part lab and beagle as well. He's the 6th dog who came to us from the same property. He's likely a brother or half brother to 5 dogs you've seen on our page -- Malarkey, Dipper, Crocket, Magic and Lucca. All are good natured, affection boys and girls. Jeff Wyler has a soft, medium-length coat. He's dog friendly, house broken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Jeff Wyler, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Jeff Wyler at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastsgate. Naming this boy Jeff Wyler is our way of saying thank you to the good folks at Jeff Wyler Automotive Family, who generously donated $1000 to 50 different rescues and shelters (including SDHR) to celebrate their 50th anniversary. That's a $50,000 commitment to the welfare of homeless animals in our community and we are so grateful to have been included. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
