Meet Bedazzled Bassets-Lemon

Introducing Lemon! This bedazzled basset (AKA lemon, breezy, extra squeezy) has quite a personality, even though she is completely blind in her right eye, but that doesn’t stop this sweet girl at all!   The doctor doesn’t think it’s necessary at this time to take her our her eye. It doesn’t bother her throughout her daily life. The doctors feel there may have been an ulcer or rupture in the past that caused her body to do its own conjunctival graft to heal it (due to neglect and no proper vetting before being rescued) It is  not painful to her,  her future adopter should monitor it with their veterinarian. Lemon  is very bubbly and loves to have your attention. Lemon enjoys cuddle s and affection. Lemon fully house trained. Lemon also enjoys playing with her fur foster sisters and going through the toy bin and spreading them all throughout the house. She likes to sneak and hide her stuffed animals because that’s her favorite. Lemon will need to be fed separate from her fur brothers and sisters since she likes to have her food to herself, she will not share it well with others. She enjoys outside time, but she does require a fence because she likes to sniff and sometimes she doesn’t pay attention on how far she goes. Keep in mind this beautiful girl is a hound dog and she loves to share her voice and howl sometimes. She enjoys cuddle times whether it’s on a dog bed or with her foster humans. Lemon is not cat tested. She is very vocal and loves to howl, especially when crated.
