Meet Brooke! This adorable, short, 2-year-old Wire-Haired Jack Russell Terrier/31 Flavors mix weighs in at 45 lbs and is ready to fill your life with joy and excitement! After spending 7 long months in a shelter, where she ended up after her previous owners let her roam the streets, Brooke is now soaking up all the love and attention from her foster family. Belly rubs? Absolutely essential in her world!Brooke is a ball-obsessed, energetic girl who lives for a good game of fetch. She’ll eagerly drop the ball for you to throw it again, always ready for more fun. She does well with other dogs and patiently waits her turn for treats alongside her foster siblings. Brooke is also a people magnet, so she’d be equally happy as the only dog in an active family, where she can get plenty of attention and playtime.Brooke adores people of all ages, from little ones to adults, though she hasn’t been fostered with cats and was a little too curious about them at the shelter. While she’s excited to explore new smells during walks and may pull a bit, she’s a quick learner and will just need some additional guidance to refine her leash manners. Brooke sleeps soundly in her crate at night but is still adjusting to it as a safe space during the day when her people aren’t home. She is also doing wonderfully with housetraining.If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion with an enthusiastic spirit and a heart full of affection, Brooke could be a great fit for your family.
