What better time of year -- especially with record-breaking temperatures -- to get cozy with Emry. This lovely Pittie mix girl will keep you warm as she is a top-notch lap dog. And she will make you laugh at her charming and goofy Pittie smile. She is very food motivated and loves treats and observation suggests she will learn routines quickly. Emry likes to stay close to where people are; she craves attention and affection. Emry is a happy and sweet soul with not a mean bone in her body. Great with other dogs, she is the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet couch potato that loves cuddles and companionship. Emry is currently residing at the Brooke County Animal Shelter. Adoption Process
Before scheduling a meet-and-greet with one of our adoptable cats or dogs, you must complete an application and interview with an adoption team member. Applications are located on our website at www.animaladvocates.net. We get to know the pets’ personalities and needs very well, striving to make the best possible match for both animals and adopters. Adoptions Fees (as of 1/2021) -Young (year or younger): $100 kitten – $225 puppy -Adult (year or older): $80 cat – $180 dog -Senior (10 / 8 years or older): $60 cat – $90 dog - Discount for adopting a pair – ½ off the adoption fee of the second cat or dog. We aim to provide high quality care for the well-being of rescued cats and dogs until they are placed in forever homes. All animals are regularly vet checked, fully vaccinated, spayed / neutered and microchipped. They are routinely treated for fleas and worms as well as any medical issues.
