Meet Mushu

Meet Mushu!This sweet guy is a 9 month old Cocker Spaniel/Poodle Mix. He came to us from a puppy mill back in September. Mushu should be able to be a typical happy, carefree puppy. Unfortunately, the trauma he experienced in his short life at the mill has left him pretty broken.  He is still very shy and wary of men. He does warm up over time, but he will need a very patient owner who is willing to give him space while also working with him. He completed our prison training program and did well! We found he does best with a routine and structure. Once he warms up in a home he loves playing with toys, hanging out with the other dogs and even snoozing on the couch! He will need consistency and a schedule to stay on track with potty training.  This guy loves other dogs so we will require there be at least one other, confident, friendly dog in his forever home! We will also require a home with a physical fenced in back yard and no small children.  Mushu is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
