Meet Mike
Meet Mike! He was found wandering in a neighborhood in AR with Molly. A good samaritan took them in and keep them safe and warm while they tried to locate an owner. When none was found, we transferred them to one of our partner veterinarians for 3 weeks while we continued to look for an owner. When no one came forward for them, the officially became part of GPMR.Molly and Mike appear to be a bonded pair and so we are trying to place them in a home together. The vet's office reports that they didn't seem to care for small yappy dogs. We've had them around medium to large size dogs and they've done great. We are working on evaluating them with cats in their foster home. They are estimated between 2-3 years old.Mike is definitely more outgoing than Molly. He quickly bonded with the resident Mastiff in the home and follows him everywhere. Mike is a dog who definitely prefers to be with his people versus being with out them. Whatever room you are in, he wants to be with you. Both Mike and Molly have tested positive for heartworms and will be treated soon. If we have a family willing to adopt them together, we will charge one $450 fee for the dogs to go together. We will pay for their heartworm treatment whether that be with our foster family or with an adoptive family. Molly and Mike are being fostered in Fort Smith, AR
