High Plateau Humane Society

HPHS was founded in 1987 and we rescue about 120 dogs and 250 cats per year. We are an all-volunteer organization and run a thrift store, called Second Chance Thrift, from which we adopt out animals and sell our low-cost spay and neuter certificates. We have a number volunteers, including a board of five. We do this because we have a passion to rescue orphaned and homeless animals and want to make life better for the animals in our county.

Meet COURTESY POST FOR EUGENE OREGON: Abram

COURTESY POSTING FOR DOG IN EUGENE, OR:  Abram is a stunning 78lb, 4 year old male Malamute/ German Shepherd/ Husky. Abe is shy and takes some time to warm up to new people, but the wait is worth it. He is a sweet loving playful silly guy when he is comfortable, though strangers set off his stranger danger howl. He is great with other all dogs and has done well inside with cats while supervised.  Abram is neutered, dewormed, up to date on shots. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please fill out an application for him at Cruxrock.com/pet-adoptions and Marra will get back to you to discuss him in greater detail. PLEASE NOTE:  This is a Courtesy Listing for Crux Pet Adoptions in Eugene, OR.  This dog is not with the High Plateau Humane Society.

Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.
