High Plateau Humane Society

HPHS was founded in 1987 and we rescue about 120 dogs and 250 cats per year. We are an all-volunteer organization and run a thrift store, called Second Chance Thrift, from which we adopt out animals and sell our low-cost spay and neuter certificates. We have a number volunteers, including a board of five. We do this because we have a passion to rescue orphaned and homeless animals and want to make life better for the animals in our county.

Meet COURTESY POST FOR EUGENE OREGON: Shoneah

COURTESY POSTING FOR DOG IN EUGENE, OR:  Shoneah (Sho) is a shy, sweet, silly, loving, 1 year old female husky mix that needs a home with a 7 foot fence to keep her from adventuring.  A home with another playful, friendly dog would also be a plus. Sho's favorite pastimes are playing with other dogs and snuggling with her family. Sho is very quiet and rarely makes any noise. She is house trained, walks nicely onlead & off, and gets along great with all other dogs. Sho is spayed, dewormed, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you are interested in this sweet girl, please fill out an application for her at Cruxrock.com/pet-adoptions and the manager, Marra, will get back to you to discuss her in greater detail. PLEASE NOTE:  This is a Courtesy Listing for Crux Pet Adoptions in Eugene, OR.  This dog is not with the High Plateau Humane Society.

Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.
