Underdogs Rock! Rescue

We are a small Portland, Oregon based 501c3 organization rescuing dogs from the over crowded shelters in Southern California, Alabama, and Hawaii. We foster the dogs until they are healthy and help them find their forever homes! Contact us at [email protected] work directly with Rescue Groups in Southern California to rescue dogs who are on their last days in the high-kill shelters. Because our dogs are in Foster Homes we get to know the dogs personalities and needs. As we know the dogs well and how they do in a home environment, we do a great job in matching families with the right dog, and the right family for the dog!

Meet Cedric

Meet 13 pound, 1.5 year old  Cedric! Cedric is young, resourceful and adventurous. He loves to go on walks and does fabulous on leash.  When he's ready to chill, he will be happy in your lap getting pets.  Cedric is a great car co-pilot too! He would do great as an only dog or in a home with other dogs around his size and he likes cats too! Cedric can be a little timid at first but will quickly warm up with encouraging words and be your best buddy. Once you give him some friendly pets he will settle in for more and tummy scratches. He loves treats and popcorn is a favorite of his!  Cedric is housetrained and does well on a leash.  He does a silly dance when its time for his meals which will make you smile. He can be vocal so an apartment setting might be a rough go.   Cedric wouldn't do well in a home where he is not left for long periods of time as he is a dog that likes his community.  He would love a home where he gets to go on walks and sniff out all the places and things.  He likes his backyard too and would be best suited with a home with a yard. Are you ready to meet this affectionate and adorable little Terrier?  He's ready to meet you!    Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $390. He is being fostered in Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually, or in person. Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
