Meet Emmy

Meet Emmy!  Emmy is a 2 year old Great Pyr mix.  Emmy was rescued from a terrible situation in Mason County with about 60 other dogs, where she was a mere fraction of her size. While we have no idea what Emmy has been through, she has not let it dull her shine. She loves playing with her toys, taking long naps on the couch, and having her fur brushed. She is a little nervous around new people and new dogs but is slowly coming out of her shell. She is learning basic commands and has been doing great with her potty training.  Emmy is a smart and sweet girl that would do well being the only dog in the house or with a calm gentle dog that can show her the ropes.  Emmy is NOT a fan of the felines, so homes without cats please! Emmy’s foster has done an amazing job helping her feel safe and she has put on some very needed weight.  She has come a long way and is looking for a safe place to call her own, she definitely deserves it! Emmy is being fostered in Shelton, WA and can be available within OR and WA.   All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.

Adoption Process
