Pet Adoption League of Gem County

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Meet Aspen - In Foster

Meet Aspen! Spayed Young Female 2 Years Old Black Poodle Large Size Medium to High Energy Level Smart and Attentive Walks Great on a Leash Happy and Playful Good with Dogs, Cats, and Children House Trained except for occasional accidents due to Separation Anxiety. This will abate over time. Needs Attention and Reassurance to Gain Confidence Not Suitable to be Left Alone for Long Periods Sweet and Loving Aspen is a bright and energetic Poodle who loves to be around people. She enjoys her walks and is well-behaved on a leash. Aspen needs a home where she can get plenty of attention and reassurance to build her confidence. Due to her separation anxiety, she is best suited for a household where she won’t be left alone for long periods. Because she is a Poodle, she will need to be groomed. The foster family took her to the groomers as you can see in her before and after pictures. Aspen is a sweet and affectionate girl who is ready to find her forever home! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter.     Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.  Because Aspen is in a foster home, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure Aspen and a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.     Pet Adoption League  1526 N.
