If interested you MUST fill out an Adoption Application:  http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/   Location:  Boise, ID Breed:  Standard Dachshund Age:  10 years old Adoption fee:  $150/pair   **MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER   Neutered/spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped   Sampson & Delilah are a bonded pair of Standard Dachshunds who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue from Great Falls, MT after their owner took them to a vet to be euthanized for pottying in the house.  The vet wouldn’t do that and they reached out to us and we of course screamed bring them to Boise!   These siblings could not be any sweeter and a dream to have around.  Within about 5 minutes they settled into their foster home and have been great with the other dogs and the cat in the home.   Delilah is full of spunk and she loves to follow you around the house. She enjoys car rides, and her favorite is going on walks. Sampson is very laid back; he likes to cuddle with everyone. He is learning to enjoy walks. They love to cuddle up together and spend all their time near each other.   Sampson is in the early stages of vision loss but it is not to the stage where he is blind by any means. He did have a large fatty mass on his leg but the rescue had that drained and he is doing great.  Both dogs need to continue to lose some weight.  Sampson urinates a lot and may have accidents overnight but is good about pee pads; he would do best in a home that will let him out every 4 or so hours. Delilah will bark if she does not see a human and is left to her own; once she starts barking Sampson will start to howl; so not good apartment dogs. We currently have been giving her Trazadone at night when she is very restless.   They are such sweet dogs and they deserve a home that will give them so much love and attention. They would do best at a home where someone is home most of the day.
