Meet BIRDIE! Birdie is a sweet 5 year old Pyr mix, on the smaller side at about 60 lbs. Birdie came into rescue with her litter of puppies (the "B" pups) and was in bad shape. She had a skin infection and was very thin. She has recovered well and is now looking for her forever home. Birdie is an independent and super kind gal. She is food motivated and is crate trained. She walks well on leash, knows sit and shake and is potty trained. She loves to snooze in her crate, on a dog bed or even on the cool floor. She loves humans, especially tiny humans! She gets along with her foster brothers but can be weary of strange dogs. She would be great as an only dog or with a very chill male dog. She would make a great family dog! Birdie is in Texas but can be on the next NW transport! All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. Adoption Fee: $225 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959 Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company. Transport is arranged by GPPR.
