Underdogs Rock! Rescue

We are a small Portland, Oregon based 501c3 organization rescuing dogs from the over crowded shelters in Southern California, Alabama, and Hawaii. We foster the dogs until they are healthy and help them find their forever homes! Contact us at [email protected] work directly with Rescue Groups in Southern California to rescue dogs who are on their last days in the high-kill shelters. Because our dogs are in Foster Homes we get to know the dogs personalities and needs. As we know the dogs well and how they do in a home environment, we do a great job in matching families with the right dog, and the right family for the dog!

Meet Marble

Meet Marble! Marble is a 27 pound, 11 month old fun-loving energetic, beautiful merle French/English Bulldog mix. She has the face of a bulldog, but has a slender body with longer legs than your average Bulldog. She is quite the stunning gal. One of our shelter partners asked us to help them save Marble, as she had such a happy personality and loves everyone she meets. She came to the shelter after being hit by a car. Marble had a broken jaw and a her left front leg was dislocated at the shoulder with nerve damage and it needed it to be amputated. Her jaw was repaired, and her leg amputated. None of this has impacted her fantastic happy personality! She runs, plays and explores with endless enthusiasm! Marble loves walks, chasing toys, and curling up on the couch after a fun-filled day. Marble adores her human friends and will happily follow you around. She would love a yard where she can play, and she loves to lay in the grass! Marble would do really well with another playful dog in the home, as she just loves to play! As Marble is still a puppy with puppy energy, she would benefit from force/fear free training for her and her new family to help with bonding and skills. We have so many great trainers we work with and can recommend (adopters receive a discount too!). Are you ready to bring this ball of sunshine home? She is house trained, does pretty well on leash, and loves a drive in the car! Lets set up a meet & sniff! Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $390. She is being fostered in the Portland metro area. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually or in person.   For updates on all the Underdogs be sure to follow the Underdogs Rock Rescue Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UnderdogsRockRescue
