Meet Lilly

Loveable Lilly will be your new favorite fall treat! She is a perfect 1 year old, 30lb pumpkin spice latte that is oh so sweet with just the right amount of spice. Even her coat resembles the steamy drink, a delicious golden brown rust color and the most beautiful green puppy eyes. But just like a pumpkin spice latte she has some spice. She has a spunky personality, plenty of character and sass. She often whines, moans, or makes other noises to share her opinions. She is the queen of sleeping in odd positions her favorite being flat on her back with her legs in the air. She will surely keep you laughing if you should be lucky enough to adopt her. Just like the caffeine and sugar rush you get from a pumpkin spice latte, Lilly is affectionately called our “energizer bunny”, she is an active girl who needs lots of daily exercise and play time. She needs extremely active pet parents (so calling all you Serena Williams wannabes) who live in homes that have access to outdoor space where she can show you how fast and hard she likes to run.  She has already proven to be an expert running partner who will only excel as she gets older. She equally enjoys a great game of fetch and has even learned to “drop it” upon retrieval. Lilly is still very puppyish and will need an adopter dedicated to continuing her training consistently. Although she is a gentle natured girl, she can sometime get caught up in her sheer exuberance and joy of life and get mouthy. Because of this we recommend that she not go to a home with kids under 12 years of age. Lilly is an exceptionally bright and intelligent gal who catches on to training very quickly and loves to be obedient. She has had a good start to training and has the basics down and has been working on socializing and practicing all these wonderful behaviors with new distractions around. She is very eager to please, food and toy motivated making her a delight to train. She would make an ideal competitive agility, nose work, flyball, disc or obedience dog as she is eager to have a job. Like a warm creamy beverage, she is equally warm and friendly toward everyone. Lilly likes to spend time with her people and show you just how loyal she is. She loves to be close to her people and doggie siblings, snuggling and cuddling with them as much as possible throughout the day. Lilly enjoys people, cats, horses and even more so dogs and because of this we would love to find her a home with another playful & confident dog.   If you are ready to curl up on the couch after a long rainy fall hike, the perfect dollop of whipped cream on top could be Lilly. She would love nothing more than to cuddle up with you to warm up and dry off. She truly has a heart of gold and so much love to give. More than the taste is the way your favorite fall beverage makes you feel. Lilly will surely bring a smile to your face every day, make you feel the warm and fuzzy unconditional love and be a hug for your soul. She is sweet but with a little bit of heat. She is being fostered in Hillsboro.  You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually. Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
