Meet Birch! Birch came into rescue when a tragic accident suddenly took his owner. His mom was well known in the small community of Shelton, WA, and the residents rallied to get him somewhere safe after her passing. Birch is a 2-year old Pyrenees-Border Collie mix and still full of puppy energy! He is a very active, loves attention, is very sweet and affectionate, and he LOVES to give kisses! Birch is a very strong and active boy who will benefit from physical and mental stimulation as well as some basic training. He is very playful and loves to wrestle and be chased. He does best with female dogs and would like to be the only king of the household. He would prefer a home without cats. Birch is being fostered in Shelton, WA and can be transported within WA and OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.
