Our organization is the oldest pet welfare one in our community founded in 1957. Our board is 100% volunteer. We operate an Adoption Center in our rural community with the help of minimal paid staff and many volunteers. Primarily we provide shelter, medical and social rehabilitation, promote S/N, responsible pet ownership education, and permanent placement for abandoned pets in need in our community.

Meet Delilah

Hi there, my name is Delilah and I am a tiny, but mighty, bundle of love and happiness. I may be small in size, but I have a big heart that is overflowing with joy and affection. I love to play, run and explore, but my absolute favorite thing is to cuddle up with my human friends. There's nothing quite like snuggling up in a warm lap and feeling the love and comfort of a gentle touch. I promise to bring a smile to your face and fill your heart with joy every single day. I'm always eager to meet new friends, but most of all, I'm searching for my forever home. Could it be with you? Let's find out! Delilah will be spayed before leaving the Shelter and you can call or email for the release date.  The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash.  A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days.  The Shelter is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm, Friday from 10 am to 3 pm and the first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.  Call 803-536-3918 for more information or email at: [email protected]

Adoption Process
We interview potential adoption candidates, require applications, and have a formal adoption contract. Adoption fees vary based on challenges in placing some pets, but generally run from $95 to $130
