Meet Hank

Hank is a friendly and playful puppy. He loves to play with his siblings and other dogs at the shelter. Cuddles and kisses are his top priorities, if we're not counting treats. He is convinced there is a grand prize hiding in one of the plush toys and is doing his best to find it! Hank has gone on several field trips. He does well in the car and enjoys meeting new people. He can be a little shy with new dogs, but since he likes the dogs at the shelter, we think he would do well given time. He has a birthdate of 7/8/24 and is up to date on his shots and neutered. Hank is looking for a family to love! *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County for an adoption fee. Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
